Restaurant - Yuksom
The first Chogyal (king) of the Sikkimese people was crowned in Yuksom, the first state capital of Sikkim. Yuksom, the starting point of the trip to Mount Kanchendzonga (Kanchenjunga), is significant from both a cultural and religious standpoint. The name means "gathering place of the three learned monks" when translated literally. We chose the name "Yuksom" for our restaurant as a way of paying appreciation to this breathtaking landscape.
