Exclusive Itinerary:

Day 1 - Arrival and transfer to Gangtok

Our representative will be there to receive the guest at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) – He will be assisting with the transfer to Gangtok. Set at an elevation of 1670 meters, the mesmerizing city is a land of the monastery, mystic rituals & festivals. After reaching the capital of Sikkim check into the hotel. The evening hours can be enjoyed strolling around MG Marg or the local shopping center with an overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 2 Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

After morning breakfast kick start your excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir ( New ) nearly 40 kilometers away from Gangtok. The Lake is oval shaped lake nearly 50 feet deep generally covered in snow for most of the year. This lake is home to the Brahmini ducks & many migratory birds, nearby is the sacred Baba Mandir known to be a holy site for all. Nathu La Pass is an optional tour. After an adventurous tour journey back to Gangtok in the evening free to roam around M G Road or the local Shopping center. Overnight stay at Gangtok (In case of Landslide or due to any other reasons if Tshangu Lake is closed then an alternate sightseeing will be provided).

Note- Nathula pass permit is not included.

Day 03: Gangtok Local Sightseeing

Start for a Full day city tour covering Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower show, Cottage Industry, and Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology, Dro-Dul Chorten, Enchey Monastery (maximum 6 hours). Overnight stay at Gangtok

Day 04: Gangtok to Darjeeling Transfer

After breakfast transfer to Darjeeling. On reaching check-in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 05: Darjeeling Full day sightseeing.

Early morning at around 3:45 AM drive to 8000 feet / 2440 meters through primitive forests of oak, and magnolia to Tiger Hill to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather). On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Peace memorial & Batasia Loop. Drive back to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, the next round of sightseeing begins with a half-day city tour to Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Ropeway, Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center (Closed on Sunday), Tea Estate, Natural History Museum (Sunday Closed) and finally a tour to Peace Pagoda concludes the half-day before you step into an adventure of the 6th-day expedition to Mirik.

Day 06: Excursion to Mirik (Full day)

After breakfast drive to Mirik nearly 60 kilometers / 1 - 2 hours’ drive from Darjeeling. The drive is through scenic roads with an occasional stoppage for photography - Mirik is centered around Sumendu Lake and is known for its landscaped gardens, tea gardens, orange orchards, cardamom groves, and spectacular views of the Himalayan ranges. Kick start your full-day excursion of Mirik Lake (Horse riding & Boating facilities are available around the lake). The high-altitude lake is worth visiting, one can also visit Pashupati Market in Nepal on the way back to Darjeeling. After reaching Darjeeling check in to your hotel to enjoy the evening or you can take a walk to Mall Road or the local market area before calling off the day.

Day 07 - Departure

Darjeeling to Siliguri – Siliguri / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction). After breakfast transfer to Siliguri / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction). Guests are advised to start early so they reach the terminus on time for their onward journey.

  • Additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicle, other than mentioned in the itinerary.
  • Entrance Fees & Guide charges.
  • Any cost arising due to natural calamities like landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), etc (to be borne by the client, who is directly payable on the spot)
  • Any increase in airline taxes or fuel prices at the time of departure which may lead to an increase in the cost of surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.

IMPORTANT NOTE

  • Rates are based on Hotels Subject to Availability at the time of making a Reservation.
  • In case of unavailability in mentioned hotels, alternate accommodation will be arranged in a similar category hotel.
  • Rates are subject to change if there is any Fair & Festival, Major conference, or events in the travel destination.
  • Early check-in / late checks out are subject to the availability of rooms.
  • Cancellation charges would be as per the company policy.
  • Vehicle confirmed will be as per Itinerary and not at disposal.
  • AC will work only in the plains and will be switched off during hill drives.
  • All sightseeing mentioned is subject to weather conditions, political conditions & traffic conditions in the destination.
  • Any sightseeing missed due to natural calamities/weather conditions / non-operational day, is non-refundable.
  • All entrance fees will be on a direct payment basis as per the Itinerary It is not advisable to travel at night if necessary supplement charge is applicable.

PAYMENT POLICY

  • Deposit of 50% of the package cost at the time of booking.
  • Need 50% payment of the package cost, 07 days prior to the departure date.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • 50% of full tour cost - between 15 & 29 days prior to the tour.
  • 75% of full tour cost – between 14 & 7 days prior to the tour.
  • 100% - within 7 days prior to the tour
