The steam engines of the Darjeeling Himalayan Railways are an iconic part of Darjeeling’s history. Fondly called the Toy Trains of North-East, it has made appearances in several movies, books and songs. Taking cues from the same, our restaurant ‘Whistling steam’ brings you the best of what Darjeeling has to offer. Established in 1941, preserving the old British colonial charm, our Alpina Restaurant has a name for its lip-smacking delicacies.

TRIP15 is incredible! With 15% off on booking we were also able to get complimentary dinner. We booked a Deluxe Room for one night with a CP meal plan. To our delightful surprise our meal plan was upgraded to MAP meal plan with complimentary dinner. Above all rooftop retreat with panoramic view of Mt. Kanchenjunga and toy train enchantment is the most enthralling and appealing. I highly recommend taking advantage of this offer and have a wonderful stay at Summit Swiss.

Delightful Dining Experience
Dining at Alpina Restaurant was a delightful experience. We were provided with a diverse menu. The quality of the food and ingredients were fine. The staff were also very attentive. Overall we had a wonderful experience at the Alpina restaurant.

Soothing spa experience
