How do I book Summit Hotels and Resorts?
To register a booking with us, you can visit our website www.summithotels.in for online booking, chat with our sales or reservation executive online or call us directly at 8388877888

When is my reservation confirmed?
Once we receive the payment, your reservation stands confirmed.

For how many people I can make a reservation? Are booking for groups possible online?
Reservation via online travel portals allows up to 10 adults (or 5 Couples) with 2 children per couple.
However, large-scale booking is not accepted online. We recommend that you call us directly on 08388877888 and we will take care of it for you.

The cost in the online portal is very less as compared to the rates provided on the website, can’t you provide the rates lesser than the online rates?
The rates we quote include the benefit personalized services. Online travel portals run their own promotions for specific time periods.

Can you make an itinerary for guests?
Yes, we have a Travel Desk and Concierge who can plan an itinerary for destinations including Darjeeling, Gangtok, Pelling, Namchi and Kalimpong, based on your travel plans, at a minimal cost. To get in touch with our holiday experts, please contact 8388877888.

What is your cancellation policy?
If guests do not arrive for check-in, no refund on the paid tariff will be made by the hotel
If the booking is cancelled earlier than 15 days prior to check-in, cancellation charges of 25% of the paid tariff will be levied by the hotel
If the booking is cancelled within 8-15 days prior to check-in, cancellation charges of 50% of the paid tariff will be levied by the hotel
If the booking is cancelled within 7 days prior to check-in, no refund on paid tariff will be made by the hotel

What forms of payments are accepted for bookings?
For online bookings, via the Summit website or any other travel portal, all debit and credit cards are accepted, barring American Express. For direct bookings with Summit via email or telephone, cash deposits, cheque and NEFT to any of our provided bank accounts are accepted. There is also an additional option for Direct Pay via a link for online payment, or payment can be made by providing credit card details that will be charged only with the guest’s authorization.

What is the check-in and check-out time?
The check-in time is 2 PM and check-out time is 12 noon

Is parking available at the hotel?
There is free parking facility in all properties

What are the reception opening hours?
The reception is open 24hours and our executives are available to assist you both during the day and night

Can I bring my pet?
Sorry, pets are not allowed in our properties

Can I book two rooms of different categories?
Yes, two or more rooms in different categories can be booked

Is WiFi available in the hotel/in the rooms?
Free WiFi is available in all rooms and public areas in our properties

Do you offer non-smoking rooms?
We offer both smoking and non-smoking rooms

Do you have wheelchair access in all the hotels?
Yes, we have wheelchair access in all of our properties

Do you have a tea/coffee maker in the room?
Tea and coffee makers are provided in all rooms

Do you charge for a room heater?
We offer complimentary room heaters during winter

Can I use the spa areas even if I am not staying in your hotel?
The spa treatments can be availed by both staying and visiting guests. To book an appointment, please contact 8388877888.

Do you offer hotel shuttle?
Hotel shuttles are provided only in select properties at minimal costs. Please get in touch with our sales or reservation executives to book a hotel shuttle.

What do you provide for honeymoon packages?
There are honeymoon packages at our Darjeeling, Manali, Namchi and Bhutan properties. For further details, please visit the Plan Your Trip section in our website or get in touch with our sales or reservation executives.

Do you have a swimming pool in any of your hotels?
Summit Sobralia Resort and Spa, Namchi has a swimming pool

Do you have bathtubs and jacuzzis in your hotels?

We have bathtubs in all higher category rooms across all properties. Jacuzzis are installed in the suites in Summit Sobralia Resort & Spa as well as in the Presidential Suite of Summit Golden Crescent Resort & Spa.

What facilities do you have for children?
We have an indoor Kids’ Zone in all our properties and outdoor playgrounds in select properties

About Tariff & Rates

Do you offer child rates?
Summit Hotels and Resorts offers family-friendly rates – accommodation for infants up to 3 years is non-chargeable. Please find the other charges below:
3-8 Years (Child with no bed)

  • MAP - Rs. 1250/-

What are CP and MAP?
CP and MAP are meal plans. Continental Plan includes accommodation and breakfast. Modified American Plan includes accommodation, breakfast, and dinner.

What are the laundry charges?
The laundry charges are INR 500 for three pieces of clothing and INR 1000 for 5 pieces of clothing

What is the cost of the buffet?
The breakfast buffet costs INR 500 per head and the dinner buffet costs INR 800 per head

What is the cost of extra bed(s)?
For the Continental Plan, extra beds cost INR 1000 and for the Modified American Plan, extra beds cost INR 1500. The number of extra beds per room is subject to the category of the room.

Do you have separate rates for groups?
Summit offers separate rates for groups and our B2B department can help with the same

Do you have same rates all properties in a single destination?
Even in a single destination, for example in Darjeeling, the rates vary from property to property

About Hotel

What is a chalet room?
A chalet is a wooden house with overhanging eaves. Our chalet rooms are very spacious with a separate living area and a private balcony which offers spectacular outside view. The view can also be enjoyed from the bathtub.

How many people can accommodate in an executive room?
Three people with an extra bed can comfortably occupy an executive room

Do you serve alcohol in your restaurants?
We serve alcohol only in properties only in Sikkim

Is it possible to transfer my booking from Gangtok to Darjeeling as you are a chain of hotels?
Yes, booking transfers in our properties can be made with an annexation charge. However, this depends upon the availability of rooms.

What is the time I should spend in one destination?
We recommend a minimum of three nights in Gangtok, and two nights in Kalimpong, Darjeeling, Pelling, and Namchi. The number of nights can be decreased or increased as per the travel plan.

Where can I get a copy of my invoice?
You can get a copy of the invoice in your booking confirmation mail. If you require a hard copy, the hotel reception will provide one at the time of check out.

What do I do, if I have lost or forgotten something in my room?

Is there any special facilities provided to corporate guests in your hotel?
