Mr. Sumit Mitruka, an alumnus of North London University, started his career with Hilton Hotels and Resorts, London, before starting his own venture - Summit Hotels & Resorts at Gangtok, in 2009. Today, with 28 properties and counting across different horizons of India, Mr. Mitruka has definitely achieved in putting Summit as a brand on the map of the hospitality industry.

Mr. Santosh Agarwal, with all his experience, oversees the operation & HR department of Summit Hotels & Resorts. His knowledge in the hospitality industry and skills to estimate the potential of an individual without a doubt have helped the brand to station some of the best marksmen in Summit Hotels & Resorts.

CFO
Mr. Sumit Periwal did his schooling from St. Paul’s Darjeeling and then went on to pursue his B.Com from Symbiosis International University. Mr. Periwal, working in the capacity of Director of Finance, shoulders the herculean task of controlling and managing all the accounts and finances of Summit Hotels and Resorts.

Mrs. Niharika Mitruka's expertise lies in interior and designing. Her vast knowledge in the field of décor has helped Summit Hotels and Resorts to go a step further in conceptualizing standard rooms. She understands the importance of aesthetics and colors and absolutely stands out in working with space and dimensions to give that welcoming vibe to a hotel.

A seasoned hospitality professional with over 29 years of experience in operations, pre-openings, quality control, service standards, and revenue management. Mr. Deepak has held senior leadership roles with leading hospitality brands, successfully launching properties and driving operational excellence. Known for his expertise in quality assurance and service transformation, he brings a strong legacy of precision, leadership, and excellence to the industry.

Head - Sales
Anjila Yonzon, Sales Head at Summit, began her journey with the company in 2014 and has grown into a dynamic leader through dedication and performance. She holds a Diploma in Tourism, an MA, and is currently pursuing her MBA, along with an Advanced Sales Certification under Rahul Jain. She is known for her strategic vision, sales process development, and ability to inspire her team while consistently driving growth and aligning with company goals.

Mr. Mayank Agarwal is the Head of Revenue at Summit Hotels & Resorts, a leading hotel chain in East India. With over six years of experience since starting as a Reservation Executive in 2018, he's risen through the ranks by focusing on data-driven strategies to optimize room inventories and pricing. Having recently completed his MBA, Mayank combines strategic insight with operational expertise to drive profitability and align with the company's growth vision. His journey at Summit exemplifies his deep commitment to the hospitality industry.

VP - HR
Tara Gurung brings extensive experience in human resources and hospitality leadership, having worked with renowned hospitality brands across India. With expertise in talent management, employee engagement, leadership development, and organisational culture, she plays a key role in strengthening Summit Hotels & Resorts’ people-first approach. As Vice President – Human Resources, Tara leads the HR function across the growing Summit portfolio, focusing on nurturing talent, enhancing workplace culture, and supporting the brand’s continued expansion and operational excellence.
SURENDER KUMAR
Head - Finance & Accounts
Mr. Surender Kumar leads the Finance function at Summit Hotels & Resorts, overseeing accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial operations. With 10+ years of experience across hospitality, tea, and logistics, he aligns financial goals with business strategy to drive efficiency and growth. An MBA in Finance & HR, Surender has strengthened internal controls, advanced variance analysis, and project finance, supporting Summit’s vision of financial excellence and long-term success.

Working as Cluster General Manager North, with nearly 30 years of experience in the industry and 8 years at Summit Hotels. He is a dynamic leader with a proven track record and is responsible for overseeing operations, budgeting, new business development, and projections for the region. Also responsible for wedding sales and has played a major role in developing Rishikesh as a major wedding destination over the last 5 years.

Passionate about technology and innovation, Mr. Ranish has played a key role in data analysis, reporting, and revenue insights while developing systems that enhance operational efficiency across departments. His involvement across multiple operational areas has contributed significantly to strengthening performance, improving processes, and supporting the continued growth of Summit Hotels & Resorts.
