Summit Hotels & Resorts has begun FY2026–27 on a strong note, recording nearly 40% growth during April and May, driven by sustained leisure travel demand across the Eastern Himalayas. The brand sold more than 37,000 room nights, achieved a portfolio occupancy of 78.9%, and recorded average room rates above ₹6,000, with Sikkim and the Darjeeling Hills emerging as the strongest contributors to growth. The performance reflects continued traveller preference for experiential mountain stays, repeat visitation, and growing demand for established regional hospitality brands. As Summit builds on this momentum, the company is also expanding its partnership-led growth strategy, working with independent hotels, boutique resorts, heritage properties, wildlife lodges, and properties in spiritual destinations. Through its central reservations, revenue management, digital marketing, technology, and hospitality expertise, Summit aims to create a shared-growth ecosystem that enables independent properties to retain their identity while benefiting from the reach and capabilities of an established hospitality network.
